I am seeing write and read speeds so not terribel. I'm surprised that Win 10 update hasn't found drivers for the Marvel controller. Posted November 25, Rebooted and tried to install Vista.
Unfortunately, although the Vista install started, it would only go through the initial loading of the files. Ya know, the very first loading "dos-like" screen with the asus marvell sata 6g bar while it brings up system files. Then nothing!

I have no imprinted text on the cable, or plastic moulding of the connection sadly, so I can't tell. Is it worth googling 6gb Sata cable? Are all the ports 6gb capable, just the cable is crap?

Because this is not an official page, I hesitate to use their files. I have asus marvell sata 6g had any issue with any driver from Station Drivers. The problem I'm having is with the 2 Vertex 3's. The one thing the article didn't say, which it should, is that Marvell controllers are garbage. Asus marvell sata 6g how often the P55 matches or beats one of the Marvell 6gbit controllers.

Sata 6G not working in Asus Bios
Last edited by Woomack; at AM. My understanding is that people often buy the Pro motherboard of the Asus P9X79 because of the presence of the additional Marvell hardware RAID controller that is not present in some of the other P9X79 versions.
The latest revision is great! Readers should note that the download is from a French website.
